Preparing teachers for high need schools is an important emphasis of the Alternative Certification for Teachers (ACET) program, a partnership between Montgomery College and Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland. Join us to learn about strategies used to help candidates actively engage in contemplating the role of cultural, linguistic, and ethnic diversity and its impact on school settings and classrooms, with an emphasis on positive social interaction and creating supportive learning environments for all students.
